Preparing Yourself For Newness of Life----Help Desk

Hey you know the word of God says that you can't put new wine in an old bottle. So how can you put fresh ideas and new plans -or- new relationships and new spouses on top of all that old junk you have stored in the trunks of your heart?

Think about it: When you purchase new winter wear, don't you get rid of last years? Yeah I know, you keep pushing them towards the back of the closet just like you do the junk in your heart. Sooner or later the closet pole begins to weaken and then eventually, it breaks. Sounds familiar.......you had so much stuff in your heart until it began to weigh you down, and then finally there you were or still are, BROKEN. It would be so much easier if you just threw the old stuff out. ("Lay aside every weight and sin that so easily besets you!")
God is so faithful that He's even willing to get rid of your old stuff, if you give it to Him. So as you see, we don't just hold on to old material things; we hold on to old emotional hurts and God is waiting on you to throw it out.

Take inventory of this...Philippians 3:13-14 "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before." Now that's the first half....Get rid of the old junk; forget the past. Now here's the second part..."I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Now the second half is....Press forward! As you press in your purpose, you'll see that there's an award in Christanity. New life brings new blessings. When you empty your vessel from all the junk, God will replenish you with newness of life......new ideas, new love, new adventures, new activities, new plans, etc.

So get prepared for newness of life, by 1st getting rid of all the old stuff, second, by declaring and decreeing that your life will never be the same, and third, by allowing the Word of God to replenish, reconstruct, and renew you.
