Hey all my single sisters out there, don't let the activities of this day make you depressed or covet what someone has. This is the day when you have the distinc priviledge in telling God how much you love Him. And of course, you already see the provisions of His love, not just on this day, but every single day you open your eyes.
Look at this: "There is a difference between a wife and a single woman. The unmarried cares about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But she who is married cares about the things of the world---how she may please her husband. And this I say for your own profit, not that I may put a leash on you, but for what is proper, and that you may serve the Lord without distraction." 1 Corinthians 7:34-35
How awesome is that? God specifically sets a couple of scriptures in His most Holy and Divine Word to speak to just you.....Single Woman. He cares so much about you until He wants you to see the beauty of being without a mate. You are at the point in your lives, like I once was, and this is where I truly found and built a standing relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. No one controlled me praying all over the house, LLOOUUDD!!! I laid before the Lord whenever I got ready. My praise and worship music blasted as loud as I wanted it too. I said all this to say....take advantage of being single. Get to know the Lord and yourself. If you desire a husband, this is the time to make your request known before the Lord. Show Him your faithfulness. When you become faithful before God and to God, He'll began to prepare you to be faithful to one of His very own sons.
So this day, my sister, is the beginning of your love relationship with God and yourself. Learn to love and show love in your every day walk with Him. As you began to love yourself, you won't except just anything....you'll await that with is pure, perfected, and allows you to give a good report. LOL Danyelle
Happy Valentine's Day to my married girls as well. You might not get anything today because to some of your husbands, his provision is a well unspoken jesture of his love for you daily. And get this...I'd rather you show me daily your love for me in how you treat me than to treat me aweful and buy me a diamond necklace on Valentine's day. Let's be real, it happens. So you too, should say to your own self....I Love You Girl! Whether it's a day of gifts or just another day in the neighborhood...Thank the Lord you were around to see it. Now as you find more ways to please your mate, don't forget that you follow him as he follows Christ and if you can, bless God for the awesome man He chose to love you on Earth! LOL Danyelle
